Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry, we collect contact information, a general city or ZIP code, merchandise or collection details, photographs, documents, and acknowledgments you choose to provide. We do not request a street address, government identification, payment details, exact access instructions, or other sensitive identification in the initial forms.

How we use information

We use submitted information to evaluate whether merchandise or a collection may be appropriate for consignment, respond to you, determine whether collection or a private appointment may be available, prevent abuse, and maintain reasonable business records. Submission is not acceptance, appointment confirmation, or a consignment agreement.

Photographs and confidentiality

Inquiry photographs—including photographs taken inside a residence—are used for evaluation and follow-up. House & Co. does not publicly share home photographs, client identities, or personal contact information without authorization. Accepted merchandise may later be photographed and marketed for resale under the signed agreement without identifying the client or residence.

Form processing and files

The inquiry forms are routed through FormSubmit, a third-party form-processing provider. FormSubmit states that submissions are retained for 30 days and that uploaded files are delivered as attachments rather than exposed through its API. Do not submit information that is not necessary for an initial review.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the website and deliver submissions, or when required by law. If further evaluation requires sharing information with another party, we will address that during the consignment process.

Retention and security

House & Co. keeps inquiry correspondence only as reasonably necessary for review, follow-up, business records, or legal obligations. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your inquiry information, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements, by emailing hello@housecoclallam.com.
