A Full-Service Selling Process

We Handle the Sale From Start to Finish

Whether you have one valuable item or a qualifying private collection, House & Co. manages the work of resale under clear written terms.

Choose Your Starting Point

Two service paths. One selling model.

Both services use the same 60/40 commission and selective acceptance standards.

Individual Consignment

Submit photographs and basic details for one or several items. If preliminarily approved, we arrange collection in Sequim, Port Angeles, or surrounding Clallam County.

Submit an Item
STEP 01

Submit Your Inquiry

Share photographs, a general location, and basic details. For a private collection, several representative overview photographs are enough for preliminary screening.

STEP 02

We Review

We consider category, condition, likely authenticity, resale value, demand, collection size, location, and service availability. A submission does not guarantee item acceptance or an appointment.

STEP 03

We Arrange Collection

For individual items, we arrange local collection after preliminary approval. For qualifying collections, we schedule a private in-home appointment. Final acceptance is subject to in-person inspection.

STEP 04

We Confirm Written Terms

Before merchandise enters consignment, the agreement establishes the 60/40 commission, expected resale range, minimum acceptable selling price, selling authority, payment terms, and responsibilities.

STEP 05

We Manage the Sale

House & Co. researches, photographs, lists, prices, markets, negotiates, communicates with buyers, fulfills orders, and manages returns through appropriate resale channels. If an item is listed on eBay, we provide a direct link.

STEP 06

You Get Paid

You receive 60% of the final selling price after the completed transaction has cleared applicable return and refund periods. House & Co. retains 40% and covers ordinary selling expenses from its share.

No Hidden Deductions

A clear 60/40 split.

Marketplace commissions, standard shipping expenses, selling-related advertising, photography, listing expenses, and ordinary resale operating costs are paid from House & Co.’s 40% share.

The selling price used for the split excludes separately collected sales tax and buyer-paid shipping, if any.

If your item sells for

$500
You receive 60%$300
House & Co. receives 40%$200

Professional Sales Management

We handle the decisions.

Within the minimum selling price authorized in the agreement, House & Co. determines listing prices, chooses sales platforms, adjusts pricing with the market, and negotiates, accepts, declines, or counters offers without requiring approval each time.

Unsold Merchandise

Managed over time.

We review unsold inventory and pricing at least every 90 days. If an item remains unsold after 12 months, we contact the client to discuss return or a revised selling strategy. No sale or selling timeframe is guaranteed.
